The church is a member of Thirtyone:eight a Christian charity that helps provide safeguarding support to churches. Members and church attendees all have a role to play in protecting our children and vulnerable adults and we ak everyone to be mindful of the following:
1. Report all concerns to church leadership. Where necessary these will be recorded, investigated and reported to relevant authorities. Where the concerns are about leaders of the church, report the matter to one of the charity trustees.
2. Be respectful: no physical contact should be initiated by adults towards children. No abuse or bullying of any kind will be tolerated.
3. Only children, those involved in children's ministry or parents/carers of children are allowed in the children's ministry room. No child should be left in the room unsupervised.
4. Only parents/carers are allowed to assist children requiring the oilet and be in the toilet area with children.
5. Whilst we want church to be a loving, supportive and safe place, please remember it is also open to members of the public and we encourage parents and carers to always keep an eye on their children in church.
